Lickey Hills Country Park

Situated in the suburb of Rednal, Lickey Hills Country Park dates back to the Stone Age, making it one of Birmingham’s oldest parks. It became a country park in 1971 and now welcomes more than 500,000 visitors a year. Teeming with flora and fauna, the park is home to 380 species of flowering plants, as well as fungi, ferns and many bird species – from robins to chaffinches, and blue tits to sparrow hawks.
