Laugh your way to better wellbeing

The laughter yoga sessions join a whole host of mind & body activities available as part of the national ParkLives programme, including paddleboard yoga, lakeside yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi.

Following successful one-off events in Glasgow and Dundee, local residents in Birmingham will have the chance to take part in the first ever ParkLives laughter yoga programme.


Part of the city’s summer ParkLives timetable, the weekly sessions are designed to boost health and wellbeing, whilst encouraging Brummies to explore their local parks and greenspaces. Laughter yoga has been cited as a fantastic mood booster, with research showing that staying active has strong links to reduced feelings of stress, reduced anxiety and happier moods[1].
